Youth Dating Violence is a high energy 30 minute video that will
capture
the attention of young people. Mike McCarty,
internationally recognized expert on issues of domestic violence and
sexual assault, narrates the power-packed video that also includes two
survivors of dating violence, a group of young people discussing what it
means to be "a man" and what it means to be "a
women" in our culture and a myriad of topics that include:
patriarchal society, date rape, date rape drugs, stalking, stalking
questionnaire, risk assessment and risk assessment questionnaire,
characteristics of an abuser, dating safety tips and a Personal Bill of
Rights in a Relationship. A facilitators guide is included with
the video to encourage a deeper discussion of the issues presented in
the video.
